Purple Mountain Organics is committed to offering quality organic garden and growing supplies. Whether it’s a backyard garden, community plot, or market farm we can help you grow organically. Our service is to help and do our part in the movement towards a more sustainable future. Growing, buying, and selling locally grown organic food is a step towards a more livable future for all.
From propagation supplies, starter plants, the finest hand tools ,biodesel-powered walk-behind tractors, growing media to fertilizer and much more, we offer everything you need for a bountiful harvest. We are a sprouting experience, your input is appreciated.
We are located in the town of Takoma Park, MD. We do not have a direct retail outlet. Through Takoma Park Silver Spring Co-op, for the past few years we provide our "Locally Grown, Cosmically Attuned” labeled organic starts and gardening supplies from early spring to late fall. We work with mail, fax, internet, pickup/drop off orders, and public sale days such as the Green Festival with Co-Op America. Our showroom is open by appointment only. Please call in advance. Locally, we can help you get started with or enrich your gardening experience. Our mission is food sustainability for all.
